Case Facts: Nash & Associates obtained a settlement for a 31 year old woman alleging that her OB/Gyn failed to properly obtain her consent to an endometrial ablation procedure as a treatment for post-partum bleeding. Our Clients alleged that the OB/Gyn failed to investigate the source of the patient’s bleeding and failed to offer the patient any alternative treatments. Endometrial ablation is a procedure that burns the lining of the uterus and prevents that patient from carrying children in the future.
