Theresa Neumann, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who received her undergraduate degree from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her Associates Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Essex Community College in Baltimore, Maryland. She is an honors graduate from both programs. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Theresa was a research assistant for the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, specializing in sexually transmitted diseases. In this capacity, she worked on both national and international studies with major organizations such as the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the International Women's Health Coalition co-authoring several publications and abstract presentations.

As a physician assistant, Theresa has specialized in Emergency Medicine for 14 years and has clinically instructed PA students in this field as well as the performance of history and physical exams. Her broad knowledge base and varied experience has enabled her to transition the application of medicine into the fields of law and the insurance industry. Theresa is a Medical Review Specialist for medical malpractice cases at Nash & Associates, LLC, providing expertise in cases that involve that full spectrum of medical and surgical specialties. Theresa is also serving in her third year as President of the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants, a constituent chapter of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the officially recognized PA organization in Maryland representing all 2300+ working PAs in the state.
