Upon receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, Mr. Stefanuca served a judicial clerkship for the Honorable W. Michel Pierson, Circuit Court Judge, Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Prior to joining Nash & Associates, LLC, he was employed as a law clerk with Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP and Glaser & Solomon, LLC. At this time, Mr. Stefanuca is licensed to practice in Maryland, in the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Maryland State Bar Association (civil litigation, personal injury, health law, and medical malpractice groups). Since he joined Nash & Associates, LLC, Mr. Stefanuca has been involved in numerous cases involving complex and unique legal issues as well as medical issues.
Mr. Stefanuca graduated with honors from University of Maryland School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Articles Editor on the Board of the Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. He was admitted as a member of the school's Moot Court Board. As a student attorney, Mr. Stefanuca represented a number of community organizations in the Economic Housing and Community Development Law Clinic. He received a Special Achievement Award for his work in the law clinic. During his first year of law school, he was recognized for his achievements in Legal Methods and Advocacy by Widener University School of Law.
Mr. Stefanuca received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from Towson University. He graduated magna cum laude. As an undergraduate student, Mr. Stefanuca was the first recipient of the Towson International Debate Scholarship. He was the president of the university's forensics team and one of the original founders as well as the executive director of Baltimore's first urban middle school debate league.
